Fetch Os version and service pack installed using crash dump

I have a crash dump(complete memory dump). Is it possible to know the Os
version and service pack by just looking at the crash dump using windbg.

Yes.

Even before you use “!analyze -v” it will tell you the kernel version
when you load the crash dump.
