My Corporation is registered under a Civil Law western country. I’m not sure how this is relevant though, I don’t think the CAs will be exercising any sort of discriminatory policies against non-“Western” countries…?!

Yes, I followed a link from a WinHEC site which offered a significant discount on DigiCert EV certificates for Microsoft Code Signing. Those of us building UEFI boot applications have already been “beta-testing” this process for Microsoft for a year now
