Ex functions in boot drivers

Hi,
I’d like to know if there are any issues in using
Ex functions, specially ExAllocatePool, in the
DriverEntry & AddDevice of boot drivers. When is the
Executive loaded during the boot process in Windows
2000?

the executive is running long before your driver entry or add device
routines are called. You should be fine.
