error in inter-process shared memory sections.

I have written a filter driver which works fine. But when I install “Sandboxie”, My filter works fine but Sandboxie does not works. Its service does not start and gives error:

(Sandboxie Service) Could not create memory section for ‘DeviceIdList’. Error 0 while processing CM_Get_Device_ID_List_SizeW

When I searched the net I found this link:

http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SBIE9304

When I checked the link given above, I found that it is related to some inter-process shared memory sections.

I am trying to reach bottom of this error but unable to track it. Does somebody have any idea regarding this.

So let me get this straight.
You uninstall the filter, Sandboxie runs fine, your filter runs sandboxie does not start ?
What does your filter do ? What is it’s purpose ?
Does it change security options/descriptors ?
Give us more info on the filter

Currently my minifilter just gets retrieve some information from the process which is going to start. So it is just a bypass minifilter.
What I have seen is that Sandboxie has a service for which our callback is called. Also sandboxie has some driver installed which gets started via service. So I think when it tries to start driver, it gets failed.

Are you using any undocumented stuff ?
Be careful with IRQL. Don’t have any thoughts right now. Pretty little data
here.

No I am not using any undocumented stuff. I have taken sample example from WDK samples. Anyway thanks Gabriel I will have a deeper look and if I get something, I will be back again.

Sandboxie does not works. Its service does not start and gives error:

Connect the Sandboxie’s maintainer, probably you will be able to resolve an interop together.
