Greetings!
I am tasked with implementing the functionality of disabling one or more
NIC adapters in code, and I am having a little trouble doing it. I looked
into the SetupDi APIs, but I was unable to glean the information I needed to
disable a hardware device and update the computer’s settings without
rebooting the machine. Anyone have any ideas?

Use the enable sample in Win2K DDK (src\general\setup\enable).
