Driver Development

Hello Everyone!

I thought i will ask the gurus of drivers development
wether i am on the right track or not before reading
any further.

i am thinking of building a driver which can flip my
desktop.since i am new to driver development i studied
the Graphics Device interface and how display driver
works closely with the GDi for Graphic functions but
still i have not been able to get a clear insight as
to what sould i start from.

can anyone of u please guide me to the resources where
i can find more help or guide me to the next step of
development or any kind of help.

it would be great.

Have you tried looking into SDK functions like SwitchDesktop and all ?

Hi,

I think you should look into SDK for functions like CreateDesktop,
CloseDesktop, SwitchDesktop, etc. But these will only work for WIN NT and
above.
