Driver Developer Conference. What time does it start/end?

Hi all.

Does anyone know or has an idea what time the conference will start on Sept
29th and what time it will end on Oct. 1st?

I need to understand if I should fly there on the 28th evening or 29th
morning…

Thanks!

Since they say they are providing breakfast each day, one would assume that
means be there on the 28th. The 2003 DDC started at 9AM the first day. For
something that is comming up fast and which the triage for the schedule was
a couple weeks ago, they sure are not giving out much data.

I called the registration team, and they don’t have a clue. The fact is that
i’m flying from sacramento, so i can be landing in seattle at 8:45…

Let’s see if some MS folk has any better insight…

Shit… I can’t even find the SITE on WHDC.

I can find the new WHDC China site though. Wouldn’t want to miss that.

Xie xie, Microsoft. Really helpful.

The agenda is still being firmed up. Right now we have sessions starting at 8:30 on the 29th and we have sessions that go through 5pm on the 1st. Most of the sessions that are scheduled before 11am on the 29th and after 2:45pm on the 1st will be presented more than once. That provides some flexibility - people who want to arrive on the morning of the 29th or leave early on the 1st won’t miss any content, and people who want to maximize their session time have the opportunity to attend sessions that they may have missed when the sessions were presented the first time because they decided to attend a different session.

(background… it’s hard to tell the players sometimes without a program)

In case you’re not aware, Jennifer is one of the good folks in the WDK team. Don’t blame the organizational debacle on them. I suspect they’re just about as pleased about the way this whole conference is being put together as we all are.

Thanks Jennifer!!

This is a bit like Scientology -

One forks out lots of money on faith because you’ve been lured in to
believing that the secret texts are your salvation, but no one will
tell you anything about the secrets until you’re captive.

I’m also wondering about another possibility (probability ?) that
when we all turn up on the 29th, the only thing we’ll hear is -
“Smile, you’re on Candid Camera !!”
