Driver book recommendations

The Windows driver section of the bookcase is looking a little dated. Is
there anything newer than Oney 2ed. worth having?

Many thanks.

Definitively get Developing Driver with the Windows Driver Foundation.
The other books that are good are dated such as Viscarola and Mason,
Dekker and Newcomer, or Nagar’s file system book, but each of them still
brings some unique value. Avoid Cant or Reeves like the plague.

I additionally recommend the Windows Internals series wich is a great add-on to the driver book recommended by Don Burn.

Nothing at all. MSDN documentation now is the only up-to-date source.
If you are new to this and definitely must produce a driver - find a
consultant or take a course.

To me, NO. I have both the official microsoft book on WDF, and also the one which turned black listed by major authors. I’ve read the last one, and half of the first. None of them are good as Oney’s book was.
