Hello!
I have a USB smartcard reader device driver that I’m trying to make a software first installation on Windows XP, using DPInst, package for. When I run DPInst as Administrator everything seems to install as it should. After I have run DPInst as Administrator I logout and logon again as a user with no administrator priviliges. When connecting the device I get a “Found New Hardware” dialog telling me that “You must be a member of the Administrators group on this computer to install this hardware:”.
Perhaps someone on this list can tell me if there is some way that I can do a software first installation that lets users connect the device without having administrator priviliges?
