A-O-A,
I have written a Video Display Driver for Windows NT/2000/XP.
Actually as an initial point I have used Permedia2 Display Driver that comes
with Windows 2000 DDK. Now the problem is that it does not support Windows
98/ME. My question is that how can I make my driver to run under these
operating systems.
waiting for response.
Regards,
Muhammad Asif FAyyaz

but only for capturing the rectangles where changes have taken place.
i don’t want rectangles.
i want the original gdi calls.

By rewriting from scratch. The interface for GDI drivers in Win98 is by far
another.
I don’t think you will be able to reuse much of NT code there.

DDI interfaces for win9x graphics drivers are entirely different from NT
and is more work compared with NT counterparts. NT provides much help in
managing GDI object realization and mainteanace but 9x doesn’t, the
driver has to do for itself all those stuff.
