Differences NT/2k/xp/ME

Hi All,
Can any body tell me the differences between WindowsNT,2000,XP,ME from a
programmer’s/OS-features perspective ?

ME is absolutely other OS, it is not NT, it is ancient VMM kernel with
a NT-emulation wrapper over it.
w2k is XP differ only in very minor issues.
NT4 differs from them both in absense of PnP, but, for instance,
filesystems and filters in NT4/w2k/XP are nearly the same.

NT, 2000, and XP are operating systems. ME, 98 and below are really nothing
but DOS extenders.
