device enabling/disabling issue

Hi,

i do have a (display) device in my device manager that installs as a graphics display device. the device is a UltraVNC mirror driver (UVNC BVBA) and the windows device manager behaves on it pretty strange. disabling the device works fine. fine means here that it has code 22 (CM_PROB_DISABLED) and no driver is loaded for it but i didnt check it whether its really disabled or not by testing its functionality. when i try to enable the device, it still is has code 22, but the menu on the display didnt changes from “deactivate” to “activate”. in short: the device is deactivated, but the device menu still shows “deactivate”. why? is it some bug in the device manager or the way it stores/queries the devices state? could it possibly the device itself reporting anything false?

Here is a screenshot. the os is german but it should be clear what it says: http://oi44.tinypic.com/2mqjkn4.jpg

the os is a up2date windows vista 32 bit.
