Developing File Based Write Filter

Hi All ,
I want to write a filter driver so that it can lock write access to a file. Please somone tell me what APIs can help me to meet this.

miniFilter sample can help I guess.

thanks for your reply begger, when i run minifilter driver after building in XP professional 32-bit, i can not get it installed. there are no errors in running inf. I took a bootlog and didn’t find there so please help me out this problem.

Sorry for asking the obvious, but…

Did you specify in the registry it should be a ‘boot start’ driver? Can
you load it with the system running with the
command “fltmc load ”?
