has anybody find copilot that comes with vs2022 helpful for drivers? if yes then how?
It does 'enhanced code completion' quite well.
I did use to generate a WDF USB filter Driver code, code generated will compile but not guaranteed that it will work 100%.
Definitely it will provide you with good driver reference code to start with.
FYI - some microsoft public github repos are now using copilot in autonomous mode to work on issues. They announced this feature at build and, as I track a few of those repos, I started getting email notifications today where 'copilot' is the author of issue tracking event. They've gone live with ai agents replacing software developers.
Between the Musk cameo and the 'agentic era', build was a disaster for software developers and working people in general.
