"Bad Pool Header" Blue Screen In Case of Read and Write to Ramdisk

Hello All,

I have Created a RamDisk of 200MB. when i am going to Read or Write file of any type it works fine but when i am going to trying Read or Write a Folder of data i will generate Blue Screen of Death: “Bad Pool Header” Remember i have created this Ramdisk by out size of System Memory by restricting the System.

Are you running with driver verifier’s ‘special pool’ turned on. That
option would probably help you in pinning
down the location of there error.

Also, perhaps “static driver verifier” would help here - however I’ve
never really used it so I don’t know.

With verifier enabled, what does your “!analyze -v” look like? Perhaps
in viewing what was overwritten and
with ‘what’ would help locating the source of the corruption. You should
post that.

With some answers to the above along with extra data, I’m sure someone
could help you come closer to
pinning down the source of the error.

Finally, please don’t post the same question to both groups - this will
not help you get an answer any faster
and only results in everyone receiving the same email twice.

Can you please post results of ‘!analyze -v’ in WinDbg? I think those will
provide sufficient information about the crash.
