I did the .reload command with .reload /f , but its not loading this
particular pdb. The reason is its still looking for this file at a
position that’s not defined at all. It actually worked with example from
the kernel debugging help tutorial from windbg.

The pdb location is also defined in the .sys file. This will be the location
where the compile output went.

The pdb file is on the debugger machine not the target machine.

Hello,
I am very new to debugging and device driver programming. We have a network
card and I wanted to test the driver for this. First I started with
installing WinDDK and Windebugger. I am connecting 2 machines via a
null-modem. One the host(running XP) and the Target(running Vista).
I tried out the BU command on the windebugger and found that I have a PDB
mismatch ie it looks for the PDB file always in the wrong folder. I have set
the pdb folder in the symbol path to the folder where the PDB exists in the
target machine. Still no luck. I am getting frustrated hanging up at this
point, becoz I want to move on start optimizing the driver further 
? Any
help would be awesome. Thanks.
