published as open source by Intel? I mean is there any assembler for IA64

Thanks in advance

Johnny

I found the ias in DDK but what a bout a Disassembler?

Johnny

IA64 disassembly is there, but it only comes in the Professional
distribution not in the basic product.

Great product though.

Our new 64-bit SoftICE has an Itanium disassembler and also an assembler,
but of course they’re integrated with the debugging functionality. The
disassembler is pretty complete, but the assembler, just like that in the
current SoftICE, is limited to line-by-line work at debugging level. Note
that unlike the current SoftICE, the 64-bit product has a sophisticated
host-side windowed GUI, which makes it attractive from the standpoint of
integration with the rest of Windows. The product will go into Beta 3
tomorrow, if anyone’s interested you can contact Sheryl Skidmore, our Beta
Coordinator, at xxxxx@compuware.com.

Alberto.
