AMCC Interface

Hello,
I’m writing a win2000 device driver for a PCI board. The board incorporates an AMCC 5920 PCI interface
chip. I think that the AMCC interface will be transparent to the driver writer. i.e. I don’t have to bother
about the interface. Is this assumption correct ?
Do I need to write a driver for AMCC part also ?
Please let me know about this.
Thanks
