Hi,
Iam writing driver for a device which uses bus master DMA. I use the Adapter object’s AllocateCommonBuffer function to allocated a contiguous buffers. Now i have to allocate two 12k buffers. The first call is successful and immediately when i make the second call, the system is crashing due to heap corruption. Can someone give me some clue as to why this is happening…
Iam new to SOFTICE and haven’t used it much and so am not able to get the crashdump.
Thanks,
Giri.
Hi, Giri,
If you have BoundsChecker, just open your Crash Dump File, and you’ll get
lots of information.
Alberto.
