Alerter Setting

Hi All,
during my driver testing ,I want to distribute it as much as I can over
our net.
I was thinking of using the ‘Alerter’ service to send notification when
a stop error occurs.
I would also like to specify the user who receive alerts about those
servers as me.

I don’t know where to set this in the NT4 reg or other. but as much as I
could get from the:
‘Technical Reference to the Windows 2000 registry’
the Msdn saying I should set it  in :
“Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Administrative
Templates\Administrative Services) in Group Policy.” - where is that and
what about NT4 ?
Thanks In Advance.
Daniel.

this is the all piece of documentation :
Alerter
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\

Description
The Alerter subkey stores configuration data for the Alerter service.
This service sends messages to users warning them of impending resource,
security or access problems on the server. Alerts appear in a message
box on the user’s display. Typically, the Alerter service alerts users
when a printer is running out of paper or the disk on a file server is
nearly full.

Change method
To specify users who receive alerts about this server, use the Send
Administrative Alerts to preference (Computer Configuration\Windows
Settings\Administrative Templates\Administrative Services) in Group
Policy.
