Hi, i want to write an application which changes the mode of my 802.11
wireless card to adhoc mode (peer-to-peer). I found somthing called
OID_802_11_INFRASTRUCTURE_MODE. It seems to me that i would have to write a
driver if i want to use that but i need an application and not a driver.
Could anyone guide me as to what i should look towards. Thanks a lot

If you intend to develop on WinXP, you can make use of ndisuio.sys to send oid to lower network driver. You can refer to the ddk samples about it.
Good luck
