Accessing operation region embedded controller

Hello All,
Is it possible to access an operation region of an ACPI device
Ashish

The answer depends strongly on what you mean by your question.

If you mean “Can I build my own BIOS, complete with a custom operation
region, and then provide a handler driver for it?”, then the answer is
yes.

If you mean “Can I access random hardware expressed abstractly by a BIOS
that I didn’t write, when I’m not the provider of the driver?”, then the
answer is no.

Please be much more specific about what you are trying to do and I’ll
tell you how to go about a solution.
