About Microsoft Sdbus.sys

Hi all

will any one say me that microsoft`s sdbus.sys supports only sdmemory
device or memory or i/o both…

i have a i/o device and when i use *SdBusOpenInterface , *it
starts some irp which shows it is recomending it as a memory device.I only
want to know can i connect my i/o device to sdbus.sys or i have to do
something else…

Thanks
Niraj Jha

I asked the owner of sdbus and he said

Our SD Bus driver supports Memory, MMC, and SDIO media. The APIs and other documentation related to writing a SDIO class driver that uses our SD Bus driver is available in MSDN.

Thx
d

The sdbus developer wanted to add the following

In the QFE released for XPSP2 we support all three. But in the one that shipped with XPSP2 memory card is support.
SDIO functionality was broken. There was no support for MMC.

You should get the QFE because it has a number of fixes related to device support, performance and other miscellaneous bugs fixes.
