Well, one little thing - make sure you read the bit about having to
‘unblock’ the chm after you download it.
I’d like to extend a big thank you to Keith Boyd and the msft wdk docs
team for listening to us, promising to deliver this, and actually
delivering it.
In addition to distributing the chm form, there’s even some of the other
long asked for improvements, like an accurate and up to date home page
(including versioning information), as well as a new feedback link at
the bottom. Based on the response I’ve received from Keith e. al. while
reviewing this CHM distribution for the past month or so, I would really
encourage anyone who finds a problem, has a request or ‘other’ to use
the link to report it to the wdk docs team. I know it’s been a waste of
time in the past, but it’s a new team, and I’ve found them to be
fabulously helpful and legitimately very interested in what we would
like to see happen going forward with the documentation, as this release
demonstrates quite clearly, I think.
Finally, in my opinion, getting a project like this funded ahead of one
featuring new material was no mean feat, so if you have a moment and
like the results, make sure that you let msft know.
