My driver can be installed successfully and device works well.
But , the system tray always prompts “A problem occurs during hardware installation.and the driver might not work…”
I checked setupapi***.log(most verbose mode) and everything go smoothly.
So , how can I debug this issue on XP ?

The device is probably coming and going off the bus during device installation.

Yes . As you said , it’s caused the fact that driver installation isn’t done while the device has been switched to another mode .
