You’re right Max. For the exact reasons, I still have a WinXP machine to
compile my int13h handler and pxe Option ROM which requires masm611 which
needs either real mode dos 16 bit or NTVDM.

Both. In my case, I’m talking about kernel streaming drivers. AVStream
works just fine in 98SE.

However, VfW drivers do still work.
