Since I don’t like the “Save current workspace?” dialog anymore than anyone
else, I started WinDBG with the -Q switch. Then I broke into my target, set
some breakpoints using bu, saved the workspace, and went on my way. When
the workspace reloaded, no breakpoints. I know that -Q disables automatic
workspace saving, but the docs don’t say explicitly that -Q completely
disables saving a workspace manually.
