Serial Port Power Management Driver Problem (COM1 & COM2)

OSR_Community_UserOSR_Community_User Member Posts: 110,217
I have a serial port driver that I wrote for Windows NT 4.0. It works
under Windows 2000 for non-standard non-intelligent multiport serial
cards. When I try to use COM1 or COM2 at 0x3f8 or 0x2f8, the two onboard
serial ports recognized by Windows 2000, my driver seems to believe
there are no serial ports there. I think the port was turned off by
ACPI. How can I re-enable the serial port?

Regards
