We are trapping all the IRPs on one machine(using the OSR filter drviers)
and sending the information across the network on a remote machine.’
There we are rebuiliding those IRPs and submitting to the remote FSD.
However, in the entire process, whenever I am creating a word doc on the
main machine , alhough I am able to replicate an analogous word doc on the
remote machine but unable to open the “.doc” file on remote machine.
The error I am getting is “invalid file format”.
This problem does not arise with “.txt”
I believe it is because of IRP_MJ_LOCK.
Can anybody throw some light on the subject.
