The latest Windbg only has options for null modem, local, or 1394… at
this
point it seems like anything would be better than serial :slight_smile:

Actually, my experience with firewire WindBg on XP is that it’s at least
as slow as serial, if not worse. Don’t ask me what the problem is. This
may have improved in the latest WindBg beta (I haven’t tried it yet), but it
seems like it’s a problem in the WindBg firewire driver, not in my firewire
connection itself (it seems to be running fine at 400 Mbps).
