Looking for consultant for Windows 98 A/V sync problem.

Dear all,
Seems like Windows 2000 do fix some bugs for Windows 98 in A/V sync problem.
Several months ago I have asked for help in some questions about A/V sync
problem in Windows 98 for a USB TV grabber device — the detail is —
The device : a USB TV grabber with video input and audio input supported.
The drivers : Two drivers developed by ourselves for USB video and audio
input.
The phenomenon : after adjust the parameter in [wavein] section in win.ini
to make video and audio synchronous, the audio sometimes disappear because
the IRP cannot be completed, which sometimes makes system hang.
Windows 2000 do cover this problem but I still wonder if there is any
solution for Windows 98 from driver or application level. Any comment is
welcome and I will be appreciated if you can introduce me some guys who may
have comments on this issue.
If there is any consultant company who can provide solution for that, I am
willing to describe the issue in more detail and pay for the solution,
thanks.
