How to read/write arbitrary physical memory under Win9X?

Dear all,
How to read/write physical memory under Win9x? It looks mapmem does not
work under Win9x sice
Win9x WDM driver doesn’t support HalTranslateBusAddr routines.Then how can
I make it? Using VXD?
How to?
