Anyone know anything about Windows XP and its use and/or support of SIP (Session
Initiation Protocol)? I cannot find anything on the MS webpages, XP DDK, nor XP
(Pro) itself. However, someone must know something I don’t know since this
press release (http://www.mediatrix.com/corpo/pressrelease/pr01-07.html) touts
interoperability between a SIP-based IP PBX and some Windows XP Real-Time
Communications platform. Mediatrix also claims WinXP is supposed to use SIP to
support PC-to-PC and PC-to-phone calls.
Any info you can share would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris.
