Winword crashes on XP if softice is installed

Hello All,

On my XP professional, winword crashes if I try to save any new document
if the softice debugger is installed.
Any clue ?. Is it a known problem. Any patch is available.

First you try to boot the OS without Softice ( press escape when OS start).
Then you you create a new folder and again reboot your with softice. I think
it can slov your problem. and send me more detail( errocode details ) then I
can help you.

I would think that contacting Compuware/Numega customer support would be the
right way to get this resolved.
