Is there IFS release for XP-SP2?
I am trying to purge file in filter driver. Everything works fine on NTFS. If I do same thing on FAT32, it doesnt work. It hangs.
I found out that apart from Main and Paging resources, VCB resource also should be acquired. Please clear me if I am wrong.
But Seems like there is a change in FAT32 file system in XP-SP2.

There is not going to be an official release of the IFSKit for XP SP2.
The next IFSKit release will coincide with the Srv03 SP1 release.
Note that you can go out to the Microsoft betaplace site and sign up for
the filter manager version of the IFSKit (Gues ID = Filtermgr). What is
currently available is very close to what was released in XP SP2 plus we
will be updating it periodically. The only prerequisite for signing up
for the filter manager version of the IFSKit is that you have previously
purchased an IFSKit.
