Hi,
Sorry if this question came up before.
Microsoft’s text regarding addfilter in Win2K is:
Important: If you attempt to add a non-existent filter to a boot device and then reboot, the system may show the error message INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. If this happens, you will be unable to start the computer. To fix this, when the boot menu is displayed at startup, go to the Advanced Options screen and select Use Last Known Good Profile.
But how can we repair a Win2K system in case the driver was working fine but has been uninstalled without removing itself from the device object it has added before? Last known good profile used that driver! Win2K seems to insist on using that driver even though it is now not loaded (thus MS text above). And one cannot access the registry to e.g. re-install that driver.
Thanks

other scenarios.
