Hello Ladislav,
AFAIK, it is still beta only.
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/DevTools/IFSKit/default.mspx gives only
‘naked’ Windows 2003. (I’ll be interested by the release version too when
available.)

Hi Neal,
I received that pre beta build of sp1 for win2k3 ids 1247, it appears to not
have the filter manager in it. Is it hidden some where?
Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
I just did an install of the 1247 build of the IFSKit and the filter
manager headers and libraries are part of the ifskit. I did a “dir /s
flt*.*” through the tree and found all of the appropriate files. When
you do the install the “Installable File System Samples” check box is
not selected by default; select it. If you open up that selection box
you should see mini-filter samples as a sub-item. Do you?
If you still have problems please bring the cd you are using to the
PlugFest so I can take a look at it.

Hi Neal,
Question is related the latest beta OS service pack of w2k3 SP1 build 1247,
not the ifs kit for 1247.
I have installed the 1247 ifskit and it works fine.

Sorry about the confusion.
I just looked at our master image for Srv03 SP1 build 1247 and it does contain filter manager. Filter manager has been incorporated into this build for over a year. Would you please bring this CD to the PlugFest so we can look at it.
