Why multiple minifilter instances

Why would a minifilter require multiple instances for the same volume. Any practical example.

Yes, minispy which is in the IFSKit.

You could attach it both above and below a given filter and by examining the operations that go in to and out of the bracketed filter you should be able to deduce what that filter is doing.

Besides these types of logging filters we believe there are very few other filters that need to support multiple instances.
