Sorry if this is a FAQ, I have not been able to find this elsewhere.
Got debug symbols for XP SP2, need XP Professional Gold Checked.
Yes, I know, Hector posted a memo on OSR website but it is now out of date,
and the checked build is not to be found.
Thanks much.
You may download it from your MSDN subscription.

If “Gold” is just XP Pro, no service pack, I think you’re correct -
they’re not there. I can’t say that I know why, but if this is the
case, they’re probably gone for good.

Martin,
I know of people who got MSDN recently and discovered that they only
get the XP SP2 slipstreamed versions. This is pretty stupid, since while I
wouldn’t run a system with SP2, I know some large firms that run XP without
it.

After a gruelling epic journey through the MSFT phone queue, I got my
answer: Pursuant to some pending court case, it has been removed for an
indefinite period. It’s been gone for about two years(!)
IMO they should stub it out so you don’t waste half-a-day looking for the
silly thing.
But that’s the scoop.
Thanks for the help.
