Where are the Windows XP symbols?

From the MSDN site we can download the German and Japanese symbols but not
the English one.
Is there a reason for that? Does anybody know alternate site where we can
get them?

TIA,

—Mirco.

Go back to the e web site and down load the virtual CD utility. It will
“open” that ISO file.

Subject: [ntdev] Windows XP Symbols!
Hello
I am trying to make my WinDbg work with Windows XP. I downloaded a file
named “usa_2462_beta2_symcd2.sym_whistler.iso” from Windowsbeta web site
(Customer Support and Diagnostics) for installing the symbols of the
operating system. I heard that this installation was necessary for WindDbg
to work with XP (Whistler).
Now how do I install these symbols from this .iso file? I just clicked open
on this iso file and it asks for an application to open it.
Could somebody provide pointers on this??
any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Venky
