I anyone out there using the Windows Driver Testing Framework that comes in
the WDK? I remember going to some WinHEC presentations on this years ago,
and wondering who would use it, so would like to know. Any comments on
experiences would be welcome.

Outside of DTM?
I just tried that two days ago and the sample script (sleep with I/O) I
tried to run failed because the WTT logger was not present.
So I gave up. I had to get the job done and figuring out what is ‘missing’
from WDT was not part of the job.

To answer the original question, one of the primary users of the WDTF framework is the Windows Logo program. Hardware vendors who have submitted their drivers for logo certification will probably be familiar with WDTF based tests.

Actually, I know a bunch of people who have used it within the context of
the WLK, what I was asking for are people who used it standalone. The 2006
WinHEC did a bunch of hype on the subject and then it disappeared into
obscurity, except that you can install it from the WDK.
