I would like to know whether do windows XP supports WDM drivers…Means what is the level of compatibility…where can I get the windows XP compatability notes for wdm drivers…

Down load the XP DDK from the Microsoft download sites, and subscribe to the
MSDN. You have to have both of those to do development any way.
Basically stated… XP is WDM.
