W2k become extremely slow after installing Passthru sample

Hi All,
If you take the passthru sample from Win2003 DDK, define
C_DEFINES=$(C_DEFINES) -DNDIS40_MINIPORT=1
C_DEFINES=$(C_DEFINES) -DNDIS40=1 in the sources file. Compile it using
either XP or W2K free environment and then installed it under W2k SP4. You
computer will become so slow that it is almost unusable like web browsing.
However you can still ping some web spots. I have verified this on 4
computers. It seems that w2k SP4 has bring some suprises to us. Has anyone
similar experiences?

One more addition. The INF file is modified so that passthru is installed as
a scheduler under w2k sp4.
