VERY URGENT: Bugcheck IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hi,

what can be the cause of this:

Bugcheck code 0000000A
Arguments 00000000 00000002 00000001 80109fa4

ChildEBP RetAddr Args to Child
f9678d60 80140e60 0000000a 00000000 00000002
ntoskrnl!DbgBreakPointWithStatus+0x4
f9678d7c 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 ntoskrnl!Kei386EoiHelper+0x2948

PLEASE someone help us to get to the source of this problem. It does not
occur consistently so it is hard to reproduce this.

Thanks.

This mean you are accessing paged pool memory at dispatch level or above.
One likely suspect is accessing paged pool inside completion routine or
spinlock.

Thanks for the quick response.

I am not using spinlocks, that that is not the problem.

I am using worker items in the following sense, where the pfnWorker
variable is a pointer to the function that is execution upon completion.

if ( PASSIVE_LEVEL == KeGetCurrentIrql() )
{
pfnWorker(Context);
}
else
{
ExInitializeWorkItem( &((PCOMPLETE_CONTEXT)
Context)->WorkItem, pfnWorker, Context);
ExQueueWorkItem( &((PCOMPLETE_CONTEXT)
Context)->WorkItem, DelayedWorkQueue );
}

Anything wrong with this ?

Are you by chance touching the irp in your pfnWorker routine?
