usbsamp example with windows logo kit ?

Hi all,
need your inputs as to what will happen if i put usbsamp example in wdk to test in wlk ? will it pass all the tests ?

Since the “usbsamp” sample does not fall into any specific device class,
that means you would have to submit it as “unclassified”. The
unclassified tests are rather easy to pass. As long as you haven’t
screwed up anything in your own customizations, it shouldn’t be a problem.

lol…yup…i gave it its own class and also named it…working too good till now…thanks guys…the examples does real rescue work…thanks again…jst one complain …the driver takes some time to download a 4mb file. i even changed the max transfer size to 4mb still it takes about 10 secs.

Is this a full speed device or a high speed device? On a full speed
device, that’s not unreasonable.

Are you chopping up the transfer into 512-byte URBs? You don’t have to
do that. Send big URBs for maximum throughput.

yeah Tim, its a full speed device and also my each URBs are of 65536bytes. I remember earlier that the speed also depends upon a quality of the usb host controller , but i guess it not rational .

That’s true, but it’s not relevant here. A full speed device only runs at 12 Mbps The best we have ever sustained is 800 kB/sec, and you’re not too far behind that.
