Hi,
We have a USB storage device. For windows98, we have a portdriver-WDM driver
solution.
Everything is working almost, except that when we write large files or a big
list of files to our device, at some point, ‘0E’ exception occurs.
Sometimes, a message is shown as “the driveletter: is not ready” while it is
still there. Some of these errors are recoverable just by pressing a key,
wheras some other necessitates restarting.
The WDM driver is written using Numega DriverWorks.
Any hints will be highly appreciated.
Thankx in Advance

I forgot to tell one thing that the device is a USB composite device - it
contains a mouse and this storage slot. A similiar problem for Win2K is
reported in MS Knowledge Base.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q283787.
Since MS has given the fix too, any hints of what was the real bug?
Regards
Iqbal
