I am looking for a way to install device drivers from the command line. I
am using the install sample from the source for WDM DDK. When I give it a
INF file and harware id, it finds that device, but it fails on the call to
UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices saying that:
No more data is available.
Any ideas?
Thanks…

Hi,mukul,
???if (FindExistingDevice(wszHardwareID,NULL))
{
//
// Device exist ,just update driver
//
else
{
if (GetLastError()!= ERROR_NO_MORE_ITEMS)
{
//
// An unknown failure from FindExistingDevice()
//
return 5; // hardware ID cann’t find in inf files.
}
else
{
// Call UpdateDrive… here…
}
}
