Hi,
I have video mirror driver for which I'm writing an uninstall routine.
In this routein, I'm sending a DIF_REMOVE to the mirror driver's node in the
PnP tree.
In 90% of the cases, this works fine, but sometimes the DIF_REMOVE fails with
ERROR_DEVICE_NOT_DISABLEABLE.
I think this is dependent on the driver for the primary video controller to
which my mirror driver is attached.
Is there a way how I can force the removal of the mirror driver? Presumably,
I'll have to force a reboot, but how can I tell Windows to remove my driver
during the reboot?
Thanks,
Burk.
