tracepdb (WPP) annoyance

As part of my post-build, I invoke tracepdb to create a set of .tmf
files. When I do, the build completes with warnings and I get the
following warning(s) placed in the .wrn file for each .tmf file created:

tracepdb : warning info BNP0000: WPPFMT generating
objchk_wlh_x86\tmf_files\a7e58565-bc09-b923-fb9d-
90b5274a0359.tmf for
objchk_wlh_x86\i386\issfltr.pdb

tracepdb is invoked with the ‘-f’ and ‘-p’ option; while this only
appears to be informational, the anal-retentive person in me would
rather not see these at all.

Anyone know of a way to suppress these messages? How 'bout changing
tracepdb to *only* output this msg when the ‘-v’ option is specified?

thanks

There is not way to tell Tracepdb to not print this messages now.

The message has changes and its info instead of a warning info on Vista.
Try it out its on the WDK.

OK, but…

I *am* using the WDK (5456) and when I build my driver, I get

1 executable built - 30 Warnings

Which is misleading since it is only these tracepdb info spew messages

I think these msgs should only be display when one specifies the ‘-v’
option…kinda like how *nix works…

I feel so much better now…
