Test and development machine config doubts..

Hi all,
I have some doubts , pls help me…
I will be having two machines a test and a development
machine, I just want to know if the two machines can
have two different processors running on them like
one having an Intel p3 and the other an AMD processor.
Will it make any difference? Or should both of them be same?
Also one more doubt is that are AMD and Intel architectures same, and can
AMD handle WinNT?
Thanks.

-WinNT can handle AMD
-You can have both machines with different architectures.

Cheers!

RE: [ntdev] Test and development machine config doubts…Good now I can go
ahead and buy the machines.
Buying an AMD would save me some bucks.
Thanks.

They can have any CPUs, even of different generations.
